N'Jaya is a very sweet young lady who receives support from the Department of Social Services. She loves to sing, dance, and roller skate! She also enjoys reading and writing poems. Although she has had some challenges in her young life, those challenges have not taken away her pretty smile and positive outlook on life.

N'Jaya is a talented basketball player, excelling both for her school team and at the local community center. Recently, she has experienced a significant growth spurt, outgrowing most of her shoes. Through sports, N'Jaya has developed resilience, perseverance, and tenacity, learning to view losses not as setbacks but as opportunities for improvement. She works diligently to maintain her grades, ensuring her eligibility to play basketball. However, the Jordans she requested are beyond her foster parent's budget. Granting this wish would be much appreciated.
