Mely is one of three siblings, but she is the only one currently living in care. As an independent living program (ILP) youth, Mely has faced numerous challenges and obstacles throughout her life. However, she thrives on challenges and never allows them to deter her. Instead, Mely embraces each obstacle, finding ways to succeed despite the difficulties.

Mely absolutely loves cooking and baking; they’re her favorite ways to unwind! On those really hectic days, She is in the kitchen, where the activity of chopping and the sweet aroma of baked goods bring her so much comfort and happiness. Each time she bakes a cake or stirs a pot, it feels like a little mini-vacation from all her worries. That's why she would be thrilled to get a new cooking and baking set. With some shiny new tools, she could dive into even more fun recipes and let her creativity shine. Whether she’s whipping up a delicious dessert or a heartwarming meal, those moments spent in the kitchen are her cherished escapes from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
