Kindred Spirit Behavioral HealthDabras suffers from trauma. His mom struggles with her mental health, and his dad is incarcerated and serving a life sentence. Despite these challenges, Dabras is a respectful and kind young man with a passion for sports, particularly football and basketball. Alongside his athletic pursuits, he excels as a student and is dedicated to his studies. Dabras has aspirations of becoming either a fireman or a policeman because he genuinely enjoys helping people and making a positive impact in his community.
Dabras’ mom is currently unable to work, making it challenging for her to provide him with items beyond basic necessities. Even new clothing has been out of their budget for a while. As a result, Dabras often wears clothes that are too small, which leads to teasing from his classmates. Despite these difficulties, he remains hopeful and has been trying to earn money for clothes by offering to help with chores in the neighborhood. Support from the community for his birthday would mean so much to him, allowing him to purchase a few special outfits that fit properly. This small gesture would not only boost his confidence but also help him feel more accepted at school.

"Dabras and his mom asked me to let you know how grateful they were for making his day special. His mom would have had nothing to give him for his day so she really wanted me to make sure you know how wonderful it was to her for you to grant this wish. She thanks you and so do I. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and thanks again!"
