Layla has faced numerous challenges throughout her life. With parents who spent much of her childhood in prison, she has moved between family members and foster homes. Despite these difficulties, Layla maintains a positive outlook. She aspires to work in the restaurant industry, with the ultimate goal of owning her own restaurant one day. Her favorite way to relieve stress is by focusing on creating new recipes.

Layla has been working so hard to finish out her school work so that she can complete her GED. Once she has her GED, she plans to enroll in a culinary program, a dream she has held onto for years. Her passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes motivates her every day. However, her laptop for school has seen better days. It’s frustrating for her, as she spends so much time troubleshooting issues that she’s starting to fall behind in her studies. With exams coming up, getting a new laptop becomes even more crucial. She knows that this is a pivotal moment in her life, and missing this opportunity to better herself would be disheartening. She is determined to overcome these obstacles, as she is eager to move on to the next phase of her life, where she can turn her culinary dreams into reality and make a positive impact through food. Layla is hopeful that with the right tools, she can succeed and thrive in her educational journey.
