Danny is an autistic young teen who loves the outdoors and is very independent. He was adopted recently and is just now getting into a regular routine. He enjoys socializing with his peers and playing board games and video games. However, he sometimes has a hard time making friends due to his disability, but he enjoys helping others.

In the aftermath of the natural disaster, Danny has been putting in tremendous effort to adapt to his new surroundings. Despite the financial challenges his family is facing, which have made each day a bit more difficult, Danny has managed to excel academically, earning excellent grades that reflect his dedication and resilience. As he navigates this transition, he dreams of treating himself to a fresh pair of AJ sneakers, a symbol of both his hard work and a small slice of normalcy he hopes to reclaim.
