Chase is an honor roll student. He likes playing video games and playing basketball. You will often find him in the park on his skateboard. He has one older sister, and he cherishes their friendship.

Chase has his heart set on receiving a new pair of sneakers for Christmas Day. He dreams of owning a high-quality pair of New Balance sneakers, known for their comfort and durability. However, there's a bittersweet note to his wishes; Chase's mother passed away a few years ago, leaving him in the care of his loving grandmother. Though she does her best to provide for him, his grandmother is facing financial challenges and, unfortunately, won’t be able to afford the sneakers he hopes for this Christmas.
