KFS&CKay is a sweet girl who has been a victim of domestic violence. She and her mother had to relocate to escape her abusive father. Despite her young age, Kay is wise beyond her years due to having to be a support system for her mother. She also suffers from anxiety and PTSD. Despite her present situation, Kay is extremely resilient, and given time, she will heal. She just needs the opportunity to be a little girl.
Kay needs warm boots for the cold weather. Every day, her mom and she walk over a mile to take her to and from school because there is no bus service in her area. As the temperature continues to drop and the weather becomes more threatening, it is imperative that she gets warm and comfortable boots as soon as possible. Help Kay stay warm and healthy this winter.
