Strengthening Families IncAva is very active, outspoken, creative and loving. She likes surfing the internet watching hack videos for ideas to create stuff. She loves dancing and choreography. She has taught herself to roller-skate, do a handstand, and many other things by watching YouTube videos. Ava loves to learn and have fun while doing so. To help learn her sight words and practice her phonics, she would turn to music; one of her favorites is Phonicsman on Youtube.
Ava has grown to nearly twice the size of the other kids in her classroom, and her foot has increased almost three sizes in just one year. She asked her great-grandmother for a pair of Nike Retro sneakers for Christmas, promising to take care of them and keep them clean. Ava has been helping her great-grandmother take care of herself and her three siblings. She is aware of the challenging times they have faced and understands if her great-grandmother can't afford the shoes. Nonetheless, Ava would truly love a pair of Nike Retro sneakers for Christmas.
