A TV for Vanessa who wants to have some holiday cheer this Christmas

Vanessa is currently in extended foster care. Her mother suffers from a genetic cognitive disease, which has led to her residing in a nursing home at a young age and being unable to care for herself or Vanessa. Vanessa had been living intermittently with her father and other relatives, but she was removed from their care due to an unsafe environment. She recently completed her high school and is working hard to create a better life for her son.

Vanessa, now 19, is in a transitional phase as she settles into her new apartment. Though she doesn’t yet have a job or extra income, she has several interviews scheduled for this week, which she hopes will lead to new opportunities. With her son turning 1 in December, Vanessa is determined to create a joyful Christmas for them both. She wants to provide him with the love and life experiences she missed out on during her own childhood. To make the holiday special, Vanessa wishes to get a TV that will serve as a meaningful gift for both of them. Her idea is to display a cozy fireplace picture on the screen while playing Christmas songs, creating a warm and festive atmosphere on Christmas morning. Additionally, since her birthday falls in January, this gift would serve as a combined celebration for both occasions, symbolizing her hopes for a brighter future for her and her son.

"OMG. You should see how cool my TV looks in my apartment. My son is still really little but I really enjoyed watching Christmas movies. I know it will continue to make our house feel more like a home and bring lots of entertainment for us both. Thank you."
