VA DSS - Chesapeake City CountyJacob is an amazing young man who is currently placed in an Independent Living Home. Jacob wants to join the Military once he graduates from high school. He has not allowed his current circumstance to stop his desire to graduate high school and join the Army. Jacob loves to fish and play soccer. He has a part-time job at the local McDonald's. Jacob does not want to be adopted and wants to become independent and live alone.
Jacob has been adjusting well to his independent living program. He is working hard at his part-time job while also keeping up with his schoolwork. Jacob is set to graduate from high school next year and plans to join the military afterward. For Christmas, he requested a couple of new hoodies. Jacob takes the bus to both school and work, and the hoodies will help keep him warm during the cold evenings.
