Angel is a bright young man who enjoys playing different sports, hanging out with his family (including his little sister), and skating with his friends. Angel has been in and out of the foster care system since he was a baby. At times, he returned to his parents, but was then removed again on multiple occasions. Angel has flashbacks from his past, and he is reminded of the hardships he went through in the care of his parents, but also in the care of some foster homes. Despite all of this, Angel remains a respectful young man who still laughs and makes jokes with his social worker and with those around him.

Angel has several traumas that he is still healing from, and one of the ways he copes with the hardships he has experienced over the past few years is by skating at a skate park with his friends. He mentioned that his friends have skateboards, and he usually borrows one of theirs as he tries to learn new tricks. This year, when asked what he wanted for Christmas, Angel expressed that he simply wanted to spend time with his family and hoped to get a skateboard of his own.
