Unfortunately, when his family lost their home, he had to transition to living with his father, which has been challenging for him. Shy by nature, Lamont takes time to feel comfortable around others, but once he does, his creativity shines through in his love for music and drawing. He often uses fidget items to help him stay calm during turbulent times.

Lamont lives in a home with several older girls who have all requested Stanley Cups for school. While Lamont also wants a Stanley Cup, he has his heart set on a special version: a Black Panther tumbler.
