The Lost & Found InstituteCaleb’s journey through life has been anything but ordinary. Growing up in foster care, he cycled through multiple homes, never staying in one place for long. Despite the instability, he carried with him an unbreakable sense of hope and determination. Twice, he was adopted, only to face the heartbreak of those families not being able to provide the lasting stability he craved. But Caleb’s resilience kept him going. He learned to navigate the twists and turns of a life that was often out of his control, finding solace in his imagination and a deep desire to one day share his story with the world. One of his biggest dreams is to become an author, creating children’s books that inspire hope and resilience in young readers. He wants to write stories that show children, especially those in the foster care system, that no matter how many times life knocks them down, they can rise again. For Caleb, this is just the beginning of the life he’s always dreamed of—a life built on hope, creativity, and the belief that every child deserves a chance at a better tomorrow.
Caleb wants a new dresser for Christmas. His clothes are currently folded up in laundry baskets, cluttering his room because he doesn’t have a dresser to put them in. Every day, he sifts through the piles, searching for clean shirts and socks, and it feels like a never-ending hassle. A nice new dresser would change everything—there would finally be a place to neatly store his clothes, to open a drawer and find everything in its proper spot. He dreams of the simplicity and order a dresser would bring, of not having to dig through baskets every time he needs something to wear. A dresser isn’t just a piece of furniture for Caleb; it’s the key to a more organized, stress-free routine, and he hopes this Christmas will finally bring him that much-needed gift.

"I just wanted to take a moment to express how truly grateful I am for the thoughtful gift of a new dresser this Christmas. It might sound simple, but this gift means the world to me. For so long, I’ve been sifting through piles of clothes in laundry baskets, trying to find something clean and trying to keep things organized. It’s been a daily hassle, and I can’t even begin to explain how much stress it causes. With this dresser, I’ll finally have a place to neatly store my clothes, a place where everything will have its spot. No more digging through baskets for a shirt or socks! Just the thought of being able to open a drawer and find what I need with ease is a dream come true. It’s not just about the furniture—it’s about the order and simplicity it will bring to my daily routine. Thank you so much for making this possible. I truly appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness. This gift will make a huge difference in my life, and I’m excited to start the new year with a more organized and stress-free routine."
