Jaylynn's time in foster care has not been easy. She was separated from her sister for a while before finally being placed together again, and now the two are working toward adoption and permanency with their foster family. Jaylynn loves being reunited with her sister, and the two truly rely on each other. She tends to be more sensitive and often turns to her sister for comfort, but both girls are ready for this fresh start and excited for what's ahead. Jaylynn also has big dreams for her future. She loves to read and hopes to grow up to be an author and illustrator, a career she's confident would be a perfect fit for her.

Jaylynn has a love for the outdoors; it tends to calm her and help her ground herself amid all she's dealing with. As she heads into the winter months, when she can’t get outside, she’s been on the hunt for something that can help her get her extra energy out indoors! She has had the opportunity to try a Jumperoo at friends' houses and loved it! She wishes for one of her own so she can spend her winter bouncing and having fun when the weather outside is cold. This will be the perfect sensory outlet that her therapists suggested!
