Elijah enjoys being an extremely active outdoors kid and spends a lot of his time being the best big brother to his little brother. Elijah loves to play with the neighborhood kids as he loves being outside and wants to make a lot of new friends.

Elijah has not always enjoyed going to school and requires extra support to learn. He is in an extended year program, which means he spends very little time out of school. However, this year he has begun to show more interest in his studies, particularly in learning about the states and capitals. Elijah is primarily a visual learner, and his caseworker believes he learns best when the material is presented in a fun way that aligns with his interests. An interactive talking map of the USA and the world, which is also bilingual, would be an enjoyable and effective tool to help Elijah learn and retain the information he is passionate about.
