Alana, who has been in and out of foster care since age 11 due to an abusive home, found stability with a caring foster family. However, after the home became too crowded, she ended up sleeping in her car and staying in motels. She has now joined a transitional living program, putting her pride aside to seek help. A skilled and hard-working young lady, Alana enjoys crafts and educational conversations. To relieve stress, she goes for drives, listens to music, and takes walks. Alana aspires to become a 911 dispatcher and is actively working toward that goal.

Alana proudly purchased her first car last year. This was a big step; her car was once her living quarters. Unfortunately, it stopped working, and her insurance won't help her get it to the dealership for warranty repairs and recalls. Alana has been stressed and wants to determine what is wrong with her car so that she can decide how to complete all repairs.
