Elvira was, unfortunately, impacted by the foster care system, experiencing over thirty placements. Now, she is a dedicated social worker and a single mother, driven by her passion for making a positive impact in her community. She currently works as a Community Resource Navigator at A Sense of Home while pursuing her master’s degree in social work. Elvira aspires to start her own nonprofit organization and eventually earn her PhD, demonstrating her commitment to creating meaningful change for those in need. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys cooking, drawing, and spending quality time with her daughter, Nova, who brings her immense joy and motivation. Elvira's resilience and ambition shine through in every aspect of her life as she continues to advocate for others and inspire those around her.

Elvira has faced a challenging month financially, and unfortunately, she is unable to buy gifts for her daughter to open on Christmas. Her heartfelt wish is for some toys that would bring joy to her daughter, Nova. As a parent who prides herself on raising Nova using the Montessori method, Elvira believes that these baby bird toys would be perfect for enhancing Nova's learning and educational journey.
