He has recently exited extended foster care and is currently employed in fast food to support himself while considering future options. Due to his past experiences, he has faced some challenges in transitioning to adulthood, which led him to our project. This holiday season, Mikey is eagerly hoping for an electric skateboard to serve as his primary mode of transportation for commuting to and from work, as well as for running errands around town. Living in a car-centric state like Texas presents a significant challenge for him, especially since he doesn’t possess a driver’s license.
