Melanie and her friends decided to plan a gingerbread house decorating party. They want to hold a contest where the staff will pick a winner, and everyone will enjoy hot chocolate while decorating their houses. Each of them has drawn a picture of what they want their gingerbread house to look like, and they can’t wait to start decorating. This gathering will be especially meaningful for Melanie, as she is unable to create family traditions of her own.
