Jose's favorite color is red. He has a deep love for animals and once had a bird as a pet. In addition to this, Jose is incredibly creative and enjoys painting and drawing. He is also an Unaccompanied Refugee Minor (URM). He came to the United States when he was 11 years old and spent several months in a detention facility before being moved to a foster group home in California. Originally from Guatemala, Jose is painfully shy but has managed to learn some English. Recently, Jose's legal status changed, requiring him to move to Texas. He is very sad to have left everything behind once again.

Jose has a deep passion for dining out, and as Christmas approaches, he envisions gathering around a beautifully set table with his family to savor a sumptuous dinner. His excitement for the holiday season is palpable, as it’s a time they usually share countless memorable outings together, filled with laughter and joy. The twinkling lights and festive spirit of Christmas make him even more eager for these cherished moments. This year, he anticipates an exceptional dining experience that will make their time together truly perfect.
