Jessica spent years in the foster care system and has chosen to dedicate her adult life to advocating for other youth in care and sharing her story. Her proudest accomplishment is publishing her memoir, "Trash Bag of Memories." She dreams of continuing to write and publish books that empower foster youth. Although Jessica is strong, she wishes people understood how much she longs for peace and acceptance during her difficult moments. She is compassionate, generous, and has a big, beautiful heart.

Jessica has often felt like an outsider due to her experiences in the foster system. Writing has been her sanctuary, helping her heal over the years. She’s now a published author with her memoir "Trash Bag of Memories," hoping to empower other foster youth and show them they’re not alone. However, her laptop recently broke, halting her writing. All she wishes for now is a perfect pink laptop to continue sharing her story and connecting with others who might be facing similar struggles.
