A bike for Chris to enjoy the outdoors with his brother
Chris, 17 years old

Hillsides - BienvenidosChris was placed in foster care due to experiencing domestic violence. Despite the trauma he has endured, he has shown remarkable resilience. He is focused on finishing school and pursuing a career in the military. Eager to learn, Chris takes advantage of every opportunity that comes his way. In his free time, he enjoys drawing and playing the guitar, showcasing his talent in both areas. Chris shares that his faith is very important to him and he enjoys playing the guitar at church. He appreciates his foster parents and maintains a positive relationship with them.
Chris is an active young man who values a healthy lifestyle and enjoys exercising regularly. He frequently visits the gym with his foster brother, and this shared commitment to fitness has played a significant role in strengthening their bond. Recently, Chris has developed a new passion for bike riding and is eager to embrace the outdoors by exploring scenic trails with his foster brother. Unfortunately, he doesn’t own a bike, which limits his ability to pursue this new interest. This Christmas, Chris is hoping to receive a bike, as it would open up a world of possibilities for outdoor adventures together. He believes that biking could not only enhance their time spent together but also contribute to their mutual goal of staying active and healthy. It would mean a great deal to Chris, and he would be incredibly appreciative if his wish for a bike were fulfilled this year.
