A Bible for Jason because his former roommate tore his up
Jason, 24 years old

Foster Parent Association of WilkesJason is a great kid who has experienced much trauma in his life. In spite of it all, he is trying hard to adjust. He loves his foster family and is attached to them dearly. He has aged out of foster care and learning to live mostly on his own. He is just like any young guy that loves sports, video games, surfing the web, and eating junk food. He really wants to be able to make it on his own, but still requires support and encouragement from his former foster family.
Jason has been thinking a lot about getting a new Bible since his former roommate ruined his old one. That living situation was really tough for him, and he feels a tremendous sense of relief now that he's moved on. He’s looking forward to starting his morning devotions with a new Bible. It’ll be a great way for him to reconnect with himself and practice a little self-care. He knows how important that quiet time in the morning is for his peace of mind.
