Jamileth is the third oldest of four siblings. Currently, she is a junior in high school and has excelled academically. This year, she joined the drill team and was selected as co-captain. Jamileth has shown resilience in overcoming the challenges she has faced in foster care over the past five years, including the loss of her mother and being separated from her siblings. She loves Hello Kitty, hanging out with her friends, and playing games on her phone. Jamileth hopes to become a tenth-grade teacher to inspire other youth and plans to join the military after graduating high school.

Jamileth hopes to get a tablet alongside her phone to watch movies, finish homework assignments, and play games. When she first started her journey in foster care, she had a tablet, but unfortunately, it broke after a while. Now, she’s looking for a way to replace it so she can enjoy her favorite activities more easily.
