Marty was removed from his home because his parents were unable to provide a safe living environment or meet his basic needs, such as food, shelter, and medical and dental care. Despite this, Marty is a fun and talkative child who enjoys video games, military airplanes, and ships. He is respectful to his teachers and likes riding the school bus. One of his favorite video games is Fortnite, and he recently started playing soccer after school. Due to his love for military airplanes, his Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) often takes him to the local Midway Museum, where he particularly enjoys the flight simulator on board the ship.

Marty is a lively young boy who has faced some big changes in the past year and a half, like moving to a new school and living with a relative. Despite these challenges, he has bounced back brilliantly, improving his grades a lot. However, all these changes have been tough on him, and he often turns to video games, especially the Legend of Zelda series, to relax. Unfortunately, his Nintendo Switch has recently broken, so he hasn't been able to play his favorite games. Marty has shared with his CASA and his relative caregiver how much he wishes for a new gaming system. Playing games helps him unwind and cope with everything going on in his life. His relative caregiver can't afford to buy a new console, which makes it even more important to find a way to support Marty during this time. This Nintendo Switch will bring Marty so much fun and excitement!
