An iPad for Nicole who has had a tumultuous relationship with school in the past

Nicole, 23 years old

Foster Nation

Nicole is a spirited young woman who has spent 17 years in foster care. Her experiences have shaped who she is today, driving her to get involved in activities like the Black Student Union, choir, and band. Music has been her refuge, especially during difficult times when she faced bullying in school because of her background. Knowing how isolating it can feel, she is determined to help other kids in similar situations, showing them they are not alone in their struggles.

School hasn't always been a walk in the park for Nicole. Growing up in foster care, she faced frequent bullying from classmates, which made her journey especially tough at times. But through it all, Nicole showed incredible resilience and determination to chase her dreams. As she continues her education, she's hoping to get an iPad to give her a boost in her studies. Beyond academics, Nicole has a creative spark that she's eager to explore. She dreams of launching her own podcast—it's a platform where she can share her thoughts and ideas with the world. With the help of an iPad, she believes she could organize her content and bring her vision to life more effectively. Embracing these new tools would not only help her excel in school but also let her dive into her creative passions, setting her on a promising path for future success in both her studies and her endeavors in the creative space.
