Willow is such a sweetheart! She struggles socially and educationally but has such an optimistic spirit. She is learning to trust people and has a desire for knowledge. Her current situation has left her with a lot of trust issues as well as some self doubt. Her caregiver is working hard to help her build up her self confidence and also working with her to improve her educational base. Part of Willows life experiences is educational neglect, she has not been in school since third grade and should now be at a 6th grade level. Due to being so far behind Willow is enrolled in a homeschool to help her get a leg up on things before enrolling back into mainstream school. Willow is nervous about going to school but eager at the same time. She really does have a lot of love inside of her and just has to learn how to let it out and trust that people will receive it well. Willow loves her older brothers and helps her caregiver with anything that she can to make the household run smoothly. She's a beautiful soul and with a little encouragement will blossom in time!

Despite being at a 6th-grade level, Willow has not attended school since 3rd grade. The online program requires consistent access to a computer for tasks like typing, online research, and submitting assessments. Currently, she shares a device with her siblings, making it difficult to focus and work at her own pace. Willow experiences anxiety surrounding school, and having her own laptop will create a more relaxed and independent learning environment. This will allow her to work at her own pace, reducing stress and boosting her confidence. By granting Willow her own laptop, we can empower her to overcome these challenges and achieve her academic goals.
