Becky navigated the foster care system for several years and has aged out. As she looks towards adulthood, one of her biggest dreams is to attend college and become a teacher. This goal reflects her passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives. In her downtime, Becky enjoys crafts and piecing together puzzles, activities that she finds both relaxing and creatively fulfilling. Over the years, she has also developed strong advocacy skills, enabling her to express her needs and stand up for herself.

"Becky, when I was 18, my mom died suddenly and my dad was permanently disabled in a car accident. I had to move out and was completely on my own. I'm tell you this because I think asking for pots and pans is so SMART of you! Learning to cook is one of the best things you can do for yourself - it's cheaper, healthier, and you can impress all your friends when you invite them over! Seriously - I learned to cook via FoodNetwork and YouTube and I rarely go out to eat now b.c my food tastes better!"
