Salena and her sibling were initially placed in foster care in the same home but Salena had to be moved because of some behavior issues. Selena has been working hard to graduate and is doing much better in her new placement. Salena spends time with her sibling, which really helps. Salena has plans to join the Air Force. Salena loves sports and is a very good volleyball and basketball player.

Salena has been thriving and celebrated a significant milestone by receiving her high school diploma in January 2025. She has now enrolled in trade school to pursue a certification in welding, all while working at a local factory. Excited about this new venture, Salena has been diligently saving money to buy a vehicle to help her get to school and work more easily. Additionally, she has a favorite spot for lunches—Chipotle, which is conveniently located near her job. To make her work lunches more enjoyable, she asked for a gift card to Chipotle.
