Jack and his little brother have experienced the foster care system multiple times throughout their lives. Their journey began when their mother was incarcerated, leading to a process that almost resulted in the termination of her parental rights. However, after serving her time, she dedicated herself to rehabilitation and successfully turned her life around. Recently, she bought a house, creating a stable environment for the boys. Now, Jack and his brother can enjoy home visits with their mother, marking a hopeful new chapter in their lives.

Jack is really looking forward to his visits with his mom in her new home, but he wishes they had more games to play together. They’ve always had a great time with card games, but ever since his mom moved out of rehab, she hasn’t had a chance to buy any games for her place. Jack remembers the fun they had playing Go Fish with his little brother, and he hopes to create those same memories with his mom. It would mean a lot to him to sit down and share some laughter and friendly competition during their visits.
