Foster NationKiera is a hardworking, passionate woman who was in foster care for many years growing up in LA County. She recognizes the faults of the foster care system, including how it continues to affect her today. Despite the odds, Kiera graduated high school with honors and obtained her associates degree in nursing. In her free time, Kiera enjoys reading the Bible, doing yoga, and watching Black Panther.
Kiera takes a lot of writing classes and often goes through long texts. To write great essays, she needs a way to quickly take notes and highlight important parts. She’s been looking for a tool to help her out, and an Apple Pencil would be perfect! It would let her mark up PDFs and jot down notes on her iPad, where she does all her work. She would be so excited to get this pencil!
