Deya is a young adult who has aged out of foster care. Throughout her time in foster care, she experienced many different placements, including congregate care. Since becoming an adult, Deya has matured significantly through some challenging times. She currently works with children in foster care and aspires to make this her career. Deya is motivated to use her own experiences to help others in similar situations. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her young adult sister and mother. She also loves being outdoors, often visiting the beach, the park, and other natural areas.

Deya is a young adult who has aged out of foster care. For a long time, she has expressed a desire to learn how to ride a bike, but she has not been able to afford one. Currently, Deya is repaying debt from her past and is on a tight budget. She works multiple jobs and is making significant progress toward her financial goal of becoming debt-free and financially self-sufficient. She wants to learn to ride a bike for several reasons. The main reasons are to reduce her reliance on public transportation, which is often slow and unreliable in her city; to engage in a healthy outdoor activity; and simply for the fun of it. She would be thrilled to receive her first brand-new bike.
