Books about Ramadan and Eid to help Ali learn more about the holiday
Ali, 5 years old

The Buckeye RanchAli is a sweet child who has maintained a very positive attitude while in foster care. He has been fortunate to remain connected with his siblings, who are placed in the same foster home. Ali enjoys all the typical interests of a young boy, particularly Pokemon and Bluey. He is excited to share his family's religion and cultural practices with his foster family, as this helps him stay connected to his faith during his time in foster care.
Ali is celebrating his first Ramadan without his close family members this year. His foster family does not observe Ramadan or Eid al-Fitr, but they want to make sure that Ali is able to continue to learn about his family's cultural and religious practices while he is in foster care. These four books, plus an Eid sticker book!- will be perfect for him because they will help him learn about Ramadan through fun stories about other young children who celebrate Ramadan and Eid. Ali will love having his own set of books that he doesn't have to share with his older brother or his younger sister, because he doesn't have very many things that he can call his own! Ali will love being able to read these books over and over with his foster parent and will treasure being able to read them during future holidays!
