Prince has been in and out of foster care for most of his life and has struggled with the ability to express his emotions. Several years ago he found that making music is a way for him to express his emotions and work through his feelings. He has bounced around from placement to placement, but has shared that music has always been a constant in his life, no matter what foster home or group home he has been in. Prince is a very resilient young man who has been through some tough times in his life. Everyone who meets him is captivated by his personality. Aside from making music, he loves to paint, cook, and he recently landed his first real job! In his new role, he will be working with other youth and young adults helping them explore their musical talents!

Prince is an incredible young man who has spent much of his life in and out of foster care. Through the support of mentors and music teachers, he discovered that music is a powerful outlet for expressing his feelings and processing his emotions. Recently, Prince secured his first real job, and he is thrilled about this opportunity. In his new role, he will work with other youth and young adults, helping them explore their musical talents and express their emotions through music. His job requires him to participate in Zoom calls several times a week, but he currently relies on his cell phone, borrows laptops, or visits the library to get online. A reliable laptop would greatly enhance his ability to attend meetings and thrive in his new position.
