Amir has autism. To feel safe when he is outside the house, he often wears a costume with a mask. This helps him go to the store or the park with his family without feeling overwhelmed. He is asking for a Miles Morales costume because his current one has holes from frequent use, as he wears it almost daily.

Amir is an incredible young boy who was adopted from foster care. He's nothing short of a walking miracle, as he had both medical fragility and behavioral challenges as an infant and toddler, and required a lot of support and services. Amir is an exceptional artist, and art is one of his coping mechanisms as people can be overwhelming for him. He dreams of building the things he imagines when he grows up and wants to become a mail carrier.
