CASA NJ - Essex CountyTy-Nasia entered foster care several years ago after it was discovered that her family was exploiting her for child labor. As a result, her education and many aspects of her life were neglected. Now, she is living in a group home. Throughout her journey, she has experienced eight different placements, many of which were unable to address her trauma effectively. Currently, the group home utilizes therapeutic methods, and Ty-Nasia is finally starting to find a sense of stability. She has a passion for music and enjoys watching movies. Over time, she has made a few good friends in the group home and is settling into a better routine at school as well.
Ty-Nasia is asking for a new set of cute Jibbitz for her Crocs. She has issues with her feet, and crocs are some of the only shoes that she feels are the most comfortable for her to walk in. Because she doesn't truly love how Crocs look, she feels that personalizing them with Jibbitz would help her love them more.
