A welder for Gage who is learning new skills from his grandfather

Posted Mar 22, 2025
Gage has recently developed an interest in welding. He is learning to weld alongside his great-grandfather. His foster care caseworker believes he deserves something special to help him stay occupied during this time, especially while his family works toward reunification. Getting a welder of his very own will be such an amazing gift to help Gage reach his goals!

Gage is 15 years old and lives in PA

Gage is a very tall young man who enjoys working out, welding, and spending time with his family and siblings. He was placed in emergency custody with his grandmother due to concerns about a lack of supervision, as well as drug and alcohol use by his mother and stepdad. This separation involved Gage being taken away from his four younger siblings. One of his sisters went to live with their great-grandmother, another sister went to live with an aunt, and the two youngest siblings were placed in a foster home. Gage's greatest desire is to be reunited with all of his siblings. He is a kind person, though he tends to be quiet. However, he will stand up for himself and his siblings when necessary, which was one of the reasons the court intervened to ensure the children's safety.
