She is still trying to figure out her future and what she wants to do with her life, but is leaning towards a trade involving working with her hands. She is an older youth still in foster care and receiving support services through the Department of Social Services-Children's Division, but also starting services with the Department of Mental Health for autism.
Alexis has been having a tough time staying warm. She wishes for a heated blanket to help her feel more comfortable during those cold moments. Alexis is also dealing with anxiety and depression, and having that extra layer of warmth would offer her some much-needed comfort. It would be a small but meaningful item for her to hold onto when times get hard, helping her feel a little safer and more at ease.
