Hayden was placed in emergency care with a kinship foster family. Hayden has struggled with believing in her ability to succeed. However, she recently wrote an assignment for school that her teacher encouraged her to submit to a competition. To her delight, she won! Her work was published in a magazine, and she felt incredibly proud of herself. After the challenging year she has had, this recognition was a wonderful positive experience for her. To encourage her love for writing she would love a journaling kit to continue her creative journey.
Hayden is 15 years old and lives in PA
Hayden has had a very challenging year, with lots of ups and downs, including many placement moves. She is finally in a place where she is comfortable and accepted. Hayden always has a smile on her face when you see her, and she enjoys writing, being active, going to the farm to see the animals, and staying busy most of all.
