Heaven has been facing homelessness for a little over a year. After a difficult experience at a previous shelter, she had to leave the area and lived without housing for quite some time. However, she has recently connected with a new shelter and is beginning to get back on her feet, having secured her first job. Heaven values education above all else and aspires to attend either medical or law school to build a fulfilling and sustainable career. As she works diligently to acquire valuable life skills for her future, she also finds joy in sports, having played volleyball since middle school. Her determination and passion for learning are shaping her journey forward.

Heaven has poured her heart and soul into securing a safe place to call home and landing a new job over the past few weeks. Now, with her birthday approaching, all she wants is a chance to celebrate the incredible strength she's shown in overcoming so many challenges this year. It’s going to be a meaningful day, especially since she'll get to share it with her sister, enjoying the sweet tradition of indulging in cake together as a family. Heaven also dreams of treating herself to something new to wear, a simple yet powerful way to mark her progress.
