Marchellos is a very smart and funny young man who loves to play basketball and has a passion for math. He was placed in foster care without his two younger siblings, which has caused him some difficulties during his time in care. Marchellos struggled to understand why he could not be with his brothers. However, he has now finally settled down. Although he was behind in school, Marchellos has worked diligently to improve his grades over the past two semesters. He aspires to join the Air Force upon graduation and learn how to fly planes. Despite his placement in foster care, Marchellos is determined to achieve his goal of one day flying commercial aircraft.

Marchellos enjoys spending time with his four siblings in care. He loves going into the community for their visits. The siblings frequently talk to each other and are currently trying to plan an outing for spring break. During one of his outings, Marchellos's foster parent took him to the go-kart track, and he instantly fell in love with it! He asked if he could share his go-kart experience with his siblings during a visit. Marchellos knows they will have a great time at the go-kart track! Maintaining regular contact with siblings in foster care helps children experience better mental health outcomes, including lower rates of anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems.
