Kaiye needs a new pair of sneakers to wear on Easter. He goes to church every Easter with his grandmother, and these new sneakers will complement his new outfit. Unfortunately, his mom can't afford to buy him these sneakers due to her low income and living in public housing.
Kaiye is 7 years old and lives in NJ
Kaiye likes it when his mother reads and sings to him at bedtime. He has one older brother in whom he adores. He likes to pick leaves with his brother during the fall season. Christmas is his favorite holiday.
