Michelle has experienced multiple home placements and is currently under the care of the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). Recently, she and her two sisters were reunited and found shared housing after the loss of their mother last year. Michelle is a witty and energetic girl who treats others with respect. However, her challenging upbringing has had a negative impact on her academic performance. She has also faced significant health issues. Despite these obstacles, Michelle remains optimistic about her future, even while dealing with housing instability and ongoing health concerns.

Michelle needs new pants, especially since she has lost a significant amount of weight due to ongoing treatment for a chronic health condition. Granting Michelle's wish will allow her to go shopping and find stylish pants just in time for the change in season and help boost her self-esteem! Michelle is waiting for a response regarding eligibility for possible disability services given her chronic health condition which has made it difficult to afford appropriate seasonal attire.
