Adopted at two years old, Jake’s journey took a painful turn when his family decided they could no longer care for his additional behavioral needs, leaving him without a permanent place to call home. Navigating this level of rejection, loss, and displacement has been heartbreaking for him, leaving him to move through system transitions without his familiar personal belongings. Despite carrying the weight of heavy confusion and distress, Jake continues to show remarkable resilience.
Jake loves cars, and for his birthday, he asked for a special Cybertruck. He enjoys playing with them and learning about how they operate. It is his favorite hobby and truly brings him joy. He will be so happy to open this on his birthday!
