Grace comes to us from the Marshall Islands. Her mother is raising both her and her brother, while their father stayed behind in the islands with his other family. Grace has realized that the culture here is different from her own, and she just wants to fit in with her peers.

Grace's mom struggles to meet their essential needs and often requests help for clothing and hygiene items. Grace has never had anything of her own, such as a tablet. She is an excellent student who loves to learn and excel. Having her own device for her graduation would boost her spirits, self-esteem, and sense of belonging. She really wants to fit in with her peers. A new tablet would provide her with something that truly belongs to her, making it easier for her to feel accepted as she transitions to middle school. She has never experienced such luxuries before. Receiving such a significant gift for her 5th-grade graduation would bring her so much joy, especially since her family could not afford it otherwise.
