Luis is an English Language Learner (ELL) and is one of five children. Luis is the kindest and most tenderhearted person you will ever meet! He is also very knowledgeable about technology and can usually resolve any technical issues that teachers encounter.

Luis is a tech whiz, and every week, teachers come to him for help with their IT problems. His face lights up when they express their gratitude; those moments really boost his confidence. When asked what might make his transition to middle school easier, he mentioned worrying about his mom needing to take on extra shifts just to afford a tablet for school. He is always thinking of others. Granting his wish for a tablet would really be a special surprise for Luis as he graduates and transitions to middle school.
