Jenda Foster CareGabby is a sweet young girl who is currently living with a long-term family friend. She is very happy in her new placement. Although Gabby has two siblings, she is not living with them at this time. She enjoys spending time with her foster family and feels like she truly belongs. Gabby has started at a new school and is excited about having a fresh start and new beginnings.
Gabby loves reading and enjoys getting lost in a good book. Whether it’s a fun fantasy, a touching story, or an exciting mystery, she loves exploring new worlds and meeting different characters. Reading is her favorite way to relax and use her imagination. With summer coming up, Gabby can’t wait to dive into a bunch of new titles. To help her with her reading journey, she’s hoping for a gift card to Barnes & Noble. This way, she can pick out books that make her happy and keep building her library all summer long!

"Gabby, I also love to read and am so happy that you will get a trip to the bookstore. I hope you have a most wonderful summer and enjoy your new books. Also, I won’t tell you what to get but at some point in your life you might want to consider reading “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn”. It’s an old book, but it’s about a young girl who loves to read and I really enjoyed it (having also once been a young girl who loved to read - now an old woman who still loves to read.).
