Timothy is an energetic young man who has made significant progress during his time in foster care, but he has recently slowed down in his ability to retain words. He has been diagnosed with Autism and is receiving special education services at his school. Since entering foster care, Timothy has flourished. He began his journey in placement not speaking at all, but thanks to the support and encouragement from his foster mother and school staff, he has allowed his personality to grow and develop. Timothy has a particular love for songs, which he enjoys repeating.

During the school year, Timothy received physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech services throughout his preschool experience. However, he has recently stopped making progress with his speech and is currently only able to repeat words from TV songs. Timothy had a tablet that he loved, but it is no longer functioning. The board of developmental disabilities recommends that he receive a new tablet, but due to funding issues, they are unable to purchase one themselves. This tablet will be integrated into Timothy's daily routine as a tool to help him continue meeting his developmental milestones.
