Jaden is an ambitious and courageous young man who enjoys basketball. Jaden also takes piano lessons every Sunday and has seen significant growth in his skills and goals. He aspires to attend a four-year university for academic and athletic programs. Since entering the Division's care, Jaden has adapted well, having previously lived transiently with his mother and siblings. He is now developing relationships with peers and learning important social skills in his resource home, thanks to supportive guidance from his resource parent. Jaden's newfound environment has allowed him to flourish and communicate his needs effectively.

Jaden has shared that his 17th birthday is approaching and he would like a pair of Yeezy slides, as he has never received a birthday gift before. He mentioned that he has always wished he could afford a pair of Yeezy slides, but due to his family’s financial challenges, he has never been able to get them. Jaden and his family experienced homelessness for many years before he and his siblings entered the care of the Department of Children and Families. Because of their unstable living situation, they were unable to participate in celebratory gatherings. Jaden told the worker that if his wish were granted, he would be incredibly grateful to those who thought of him on his special day by providing him with a birthday gift.
