Angel is a bright young man who enjoys playing different sports, hanging out with his family (including his little sister), and skating with his friends. Angel has been in and out of the foster care system since he was a baby. At times, he returned to his parents, but was then removed again on multiple occasions. Angel has flashbacks from his past, and he is reminded of the hardships he went through in the care of his parents, but also in the care of some foster homes. Despite all of this, Angel remains a respectful young man who still laughs and makes jokes with his social worker and with those around him.

Angel has been experiencing a tough time at school. He is facing bullying due to his height and not having name-brand items like the other kids. When he gets bullied, it sometimes escalates into physical altercations, resulting in Angel being suspended. Although he has a few friends, he mentioned that they have been getting into conflicts lately, particularly after making fun of him for not having the same toys as they do. Angel has shared that many students in his class have Labubu toys, and he really wants one of his own. He thinks owning a Labubu would help him fit in more and allow him to bond more with his peers as they discuss different outfits for their Labubus. Unfortunately, his father cannot afford a Labubu for Angel at this time due to their increasing rent.
